ELORA AUSTRUP
MAT & REFORMER PILATES INSTRUCTOR
Elora grew up in the beautiful Muskoka region, where a passion for movement began early as a competitive gymnast. After retiring from gymnastics, she maintained an active lifestyle, exploring outdoor activities and regularly hitting the gym. Driven to understand movement mechanics, Elora pursued a degree in Kinesiology at Wilfred Laurier where she also became a fitness instructor. During this time Elora discovered a love for coaching and guiding individuals through their fitness journeys. Transitioning into personal training, she focused on weight training while also teaching spin and strength classes, helping clients reach their goals through diverse training methods. Personal struggles with low back pain highlighted the importance of more targeted strength, mobility, and flexibility in addition to weightlifting. Discovering Pilates transformed her approach to fitness, providing a deeper understanding and appreciation for functional movement. Elora noticed improvements in her back pain, hip mobility, core, and overall fitness. Elora is passionate about sharing the benefits of Pilates with others, aiming to help more individuals achieve their own strength and functionality in life.
